Principal Project Engineer

Join Queensland Rail as a Principal Project Engineer to lead and apply innovative thoughts to enhance our rail network. This is a fixed-term role until 31 August, 2029, based in Brisbane CBD.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of rail infrastructure construction and maintenance standards, operations and practices
• High level of management skills within a multi-disciplinary infrastructure project environment
• High written and oral communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• High level of skill in estimating, planning, organising and programming of railway infrastructure construction projects
• High level of skills in planning, monitoring and forecasting project and operational budgets
• High level of skill in software applications applicable to forward planning and project management of infrastructure construction projects
