Requirements
- Extensive systems engineering experience within largeâscale, safetyâcritical or complex rail projects.
- Strong communication, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to âspeak the languageâ of engineering while translating concepts for nonâtechnical audiences.
- A solid understanding of the full engineering lifecycle, from concept and design through to testing, commissioning, and operational readiness.
- Ability to integrate new assets into an existing operational environment, ensuring alignment with standards, safety requirements, and network constraints.
- Proven capability in change leadership, particularly in preparing people, processes, and systems for operational readiness.
- Strong interpersonal skills, combining technical credibility with the ability to lead, influence and collaborate effectively.
- Experience managing teams and coordinating with external stakeholders, consultants, and project partners.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Bachelor level or higher desirable).
