Trackworker

Queensland Rail is seeking a Trackworker to join their dedicated Track team in Charters Towers. The successful candidate will perform heavy manual labor tasks, including track maintenance and repairs, and work in challenging weather conditions.

Requirements

• Assist in the repair and maintenance of the railway track
• Carry out manual labor duties, including flood repairs and emergency work
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently

Benefits

• Working the current roster potential earnings of $95,000 plus 12.75% super – including penalties
• 9-day fortnight (Mon-Fri, Mon-Thurs) - 0600 to 1500 during the summer months & 0700 to 1600 in winter
• Travel within roster on paid work time including expenses & accommodation
• Paid training and ongoing support including Cert II in Rail Infrastructure
