Optical Engineer

QuEra Computing is seeking an Optical Engineer to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art, manufacturable, and deployable neutral atom quantum computers. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of optics and strong laboratory skills.

Requirements

• Collaborate with senior engineers and physicists to design, build, and test optical sub-systems
• Execute hands-on laboratory work—assembly, alignment, cleaning, and characterization of optical systems
• Coordinate with the R&D/science team to support cutting-edge R&D and help translate scientific advances into products
• Troubleshoot technical issues at company headquarters and support off-site installations at customer locations
