Quantum Solutions Lead

QuEra Computing Japan is seeking a qualified candidate to lead a team of researchers to develop algorithms and applications specialized to neutral atom quantum hardware.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in applied mathematics, computer science, or quantum physics, or equivalent professional experience
• Leadership in quantum algorithm development demonstrated through an exceptional scientific publication record in relevant fields
• In-depth understanding and relationships with the Japanese quantum ecosystem
• A proven ability to technically lead a team of 3-5 researchers
• Experience with technical project management
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English and Japanese
