Junior Network Administrator

Questrade Financial Group is seeking a Junior Network Administrator to help design, implement, and operate their global enterprise network and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with network administration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, with a focus on documentation and high availability. Responsibilities include implementing and supporting a functional global network, tier 1-2 level support of various network infrastructure, and managing 3rd party vendors and services.

Requirements

• 2-3+ years experience as Jr/Network Administrator/Engineer in a mid to large-scale environment
• Professional certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Cloud and Fortinet)
• Hands-on experience in any Cloud provider (Google preferred)
• Hands-on experience working with various L2/3 routing protocols
• Strong network troubleshooting skills
• Strong documentation and presentation skills
• Eager to learn new skills and develop new techniques
• Strong attention to detail, comprehensive problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently or under minimum supervision
