Senior Software Engineer

Questrade Financial Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, strong proficiency in C# /.NET / ASP.NET Core and TypeScript, and experience with Angular and React Native. The role involves designing and building back-end services, web applications, and mobile experiences, and leveraging AI development tools to accelerate coding, reviews, testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in C# /.NET / ASP.NET Core and TypeScript
• Experience with Angular and React Native (or a demonstrated ability to pick up frameworks fast)
• Ability to architect systems
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and when to apply them in real-world system architecture
• Willingness to learn and adopt AI-assisted development tools
• Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Event-Driven Architecture
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
