Communications Manager

The Communications Manager supports the development and implementation of Bedrock’s communication strategy aligned with business goals. Responsibilities include drafting communications plans, messaging, talking points, press releases, media advisories and pitches to inform, engage and secure earned media coverage.

Requirements

• Develop and manage communications plans for Bedrock projects, initiatives and milestones.
• Create, edit and distribute impactful written content including press releases, pitches and narratives that further define and build upon Bedrock’s mission and vision;
• Conduct media outreach to secure ongoing, positive earned press coverage.
• Cultivate media relationships to ensure consistent engagement with relevant local, regional and national media.
• Work collaboratively across teams to identify and align project priorities and strategies.
• Compile reporting and provide analysis of Bedrock coverage based on key communication metrics;
• Generate award submissions.
• Vet and coordinate speaking engagements.
