QuidelOrtho is looking for a Supply Chain Intern to spend their summer working towards their mission: Advancing the power of diagnostics for a healthier future for all. The role will involve analyzing demand, lead time, and variability to calculate ROP and safety stock levels, and collaborating with a supportive and dedicated team.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in the Fall Semester 2026 at an accredited university or college.
- Field of study: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related.
- Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher.
- Understanding of inventory management concepts: Reorder Point (ROP), Safety stock, Lead time demand, Demand variability, Service level targets.
- Ability to analyze historical demand and lead time data to calculate ROP and safety stock.
- Interest in ERP systems (SAP APO, S/4HANA, or similar).
- Able to start on either June 1st or July 6th.
- Ability to complete a consecutive 10-12 week internship.
- Must have work authorization in the United States at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Rising Junior or Senior at an accredited university or college.
- Strong analytical mindset; comfortable working with datasets and process flows.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts).
- Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems preferred (SAP experience is a plus).
- Strong communication skills; able to work cross-functionally in a regulated environment.
- Ability to organize priorities and work independently with guidance.
