The Director of Surgical Services and Cardiac Cath Lab oversees the strategic, administrative, and clinical operations of the Operating Rooms, Pre-Op/PACU, Sterile Processing, and the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The Director is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan, managing inventory and staffing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in Operating Room (OR) or Cardiac Cath Lab.
- Minimum of 2+ years of progressive management experience (Manager or Director level) in a hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and surgical procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead in high-stress, emergency situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with a multidisciplinary team.
- BLS, ACLS required.
- CNOR, RCIS preferred.
