Mid-Level T&E/M&S Analyst

Role Overview

R&P is seeking a mid-level Test and Evaluation (T&E) and Modelling and Simulation (M&S) analyst to provide full-time support to the U.S. Navy’s Program Office in charge of Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0). This position will be focused on an array of Modeling and Simulation (M&S) activities that support the Test and Evaluation of new and modernized systems. A hybrid work environment is acceptable; however, candidates must have the ability to work regularly in the vicinity of the Washington Navy Yard and travel up to 5-10% of the time in the DMV.

What You Will Do

Work alongside programmatic and technical experts within PEO IWS 2.0 program office and their PEO IWS 2.0 radar, electronic warfare, electro-optical, and decoy systems to coordinate M&S activities. This includes a wide-range of M&S assets, including: digital system representations, virtual twins, system level and combat system digital test beds throughout the detect to engage sequence, Systems Engineering (SE) and Test & Evaluation (T&E) tools, target simulations/stimulators, digital and hardware threat representations, atmospheric representations, scene generators, and data visualizations.

Requirements

• Possess or meet eligibility for DOD SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or similar field
• 3+ year of relevant M&S experience, particularly in the area of DoD engineering or programmatic support
• Possesses own transportation to support regular local travel (e.g. travel to NRL)
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, provide high quality services and products, while meeting strict deadlines and time constraints
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office suite
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
