Job Description
Radiance Technologies is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to support a space payload R&D group. The candidate will apply sound mechanical engineering and design principles in the development of space payload structures.
Requirements
- Design and develop mechanical components and structures for space payload systems
- Create and release detailed engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100 standards
- Perform 3D modeling and assembly design using tools such as SolidWorks or Siemens NX
- Conduct structural, thermal, and/or fluid analysis to ensure system performance and reliability
- Support system integration, testing, and validation activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across multiple programs
- Execute tasks independently while meeting aggressive schedules and program milestones
- Participate in and present at program-level design reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR)
- Derive mechanical and structural requirements
