Job Description
Radical AI is an artificial intelligence company revolutionizing materials R&D through AI and machine learning. They are seeking a Computational Materials Scientist to engage in critical simulations and modeling for materials discovery and characterization. This role involves leveraging computational chemistry, software development, and machine learning, assisting in data aggregation, model development, and serving as a key resource to ML and materials research teams.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Computational Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another related subject
- Strong research experience including computational modeling and high-throughput DFT
- Understanding of fundamental mechanics of metals and model prediction
- Experience with high-throughput DFT
- Experience with interatomic potentials
- Chemistry software development experience
- Python or similar language experience
- Experience transitioning AI + computational research into production environments
