Job Description
Join Jefferson Radiology, a leading radiology practice group in Connecticut, as a patient-focused Medical Assistant. Provide superior support and assistance to patients as they prepare for various Radiology exams. Meet with patients to verify their histories and discuss protocols for their examinations and procedures. Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures, MRI and CT examinations. Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistance, LPN, or EMT preferred
- CPR (BLS), required
- 2+ years of prior medical office experience
- Surgical office/hospital setting experience highly preferred for Interventional Radiology procedures
- Understanding of MRI and CT procedures required for MRI and CT examinations
