Job Description
The Outside Buyer reports to the Regional Accounts Manager and is responsible for generating purchases of scrap metals for the book of business within a defined geographic area. This position involves external sales/account management, customer/supplier relationship development, and negotiation of prices and long-term contracts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-4 years of sales or non-procurement buying experience
- Valid driver's license
- Superior customer service skills
- Windows XP and Outlook proficiency
- Mathematical and problem-solving skills
