Job Description
The Civil Superintendent is responsible for daily field operations, safety, sequencing, and coordination of civil work fronts on a large, complex transit project.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supervising heavy civil or transportation infrastructure construction
- Experience in active railroad or transit environments strongly preferred
- Strong background in civil construction means and methods (concrete, structures, utilities, site work)
- Track construction or railroad operations experience is a plus
- Familiarity with MTA/NYCT/Amtrak/LIRR/Metro-North preferred
- Proven leadership managing crews and subcontractors on complex projects
- Strong safety, quality, and productivity focus
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and work plans
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
