The Quality Control Engineer performs engineering design reviews on contract documents, specifications and construction submittals for quality assurance in support of project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering or closely related field
- Four years of experience in design and construction management in transportation/track related field
- Operational characteristics, services, and activities of a quality assurance program
- Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
- Principles and practices of design and construction quality management
- Quality assurance and assessment practices and procedures and reliability requirements
- Design, construction management, construction inspection, and project management principles and practices related to transportation/transit projects
- Engineering design drawings and standards, construction specifications
- Modern office procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and statistical databases
