Track Foreman

The Foreman is responsible for managing and directing a crew of workers to deliver a successful project by meeting or exceeding corporate and project goals for safety, quality, profitability and schedule, resulting in extreme customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Must be 18 years or older
• A minimum of 2 years Track/ railroad foreman experience
• Knowledge of all aspects of track construction and maintenance
• Ability to read and understand project specific documents including schedules, standard railway plans and specifications
• Ability to keep records and to prepare work and time reports
• Ability to understand and efficiently carry out instructions
• Ability to supervise the work of others and clearly communicate instructions to crew
• Thorough knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the work being performed
• Strong client relation skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Capable of performing job duties in a safe and professional manner
