Vice President - Consumer Lending

Raiz CU is seeking a Vice President of Consumer Lending to lead their consumer lending services, responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the credit union's consumer lending operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in lending and loan operations processes with direct credit authority, a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity within a financial institution, and a strong understanding of consumer lending regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
• 10 years' experience in lending and loan operations processes with direct credit authority
• 5 years in a management capacity within a financial institution
• Previous credit union experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of consumer lending regulations
• Demonstrated experience developing, growing, and managing a balanced loan portfolio
• Advanced knowledge in all areas of loss mitigation
• Ability to work proficiently with credit scoring and automated approval systems
• Flexibility, adaptability, and acceptance of change in a dynamic financial environment
• Excellent communication skills, business writing skills, and leadership abilities
