Job Description
Join Rakuten Viki, a global entertainment streaming platform, as a Senior Engineer for the Content Platform Team. This role involves designing and building mission-critical systems, applications, and automated workflows to empower Viki's end-to-end business operations. The team owns the software development lifecycle from design to maintenance, and this position requires technical ownership of a platform subsystem end-to-end architecturally, with experience in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems and microservices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent fields
- 5-8 years of software engineering experience
- Proficient in designing and developing large scale distributed systems and microservices
- Familiarity with backend development related technology stacks such as Go/Golang, Node.js, Ruby, Javascript, Python, PostgreSQL (Mysql), RabbitMQ, Redis, AWS and GCP
- Extensive knowledge of practical operating system concepts around Linux/ Unix and networking
