Job Description
The Corporate Counsel serves as a strategic legal partner to the credit union providing expert guidance on legal matters that impact the credit union’s operations. This role supports the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in effectively managing legal and regulatory risks from a collaborative leadership style that encourages proactive, business-minded legal guidance – balancing precision with operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice law in Texas
- 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in financial services, banking or credit unions
