Job Description
Mechanical Engineer - Data Center Facilities job involves designing HVAC systems, working on project timelines, and collaborating with teams. It requires 5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office programs.
Requirements
- Plan, conceptualize, and create HVAC mechanical designs for new and retrofit buildings/projects in the mission critical environment
- Duct design/piping design experience
- Central plant cooling design
- Perform typical HVAC engineering calculations to support design work
- Create technical drawings, plans, and specifications (using computer software) for review by Sr. Engineer
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
- Ensure project timelines are met and project stays within budget
- Able to travel to project sites
