Geologist

We are seeking an experienced Geologist to support on-site operations for one of our valued mining clients. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality geological data collection, core logging, modeling, and interpretation while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Work safely and responsibly at all times
• Follow all verbal and written work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety guidelines
• Safely operate on-road and off-road vehicles in varying site conditions
• Properly use and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Identify, report, and help control any safety or environmental hazards
• Perform detailed core logging, sampling, and geotechnical measurements with accuracy and consistency
• Compile, interpret, and validate mapping, drilling, and assay data within 3D geological software
• Correlate new data with existing geological models and assist in updating interpretations
• Support geologic mapping programs, field verification, and data QA/QC
• Communicate findings effectively with supervisors, geologists, and operations teams
• Provide guidance to junior staff when needed and contribute to team-based problem solving
