Job Description
RapidSOS is looking for a high-impact Senior Technical Accountant to join their finance team during a period of explosive growth. The ideal candidate will be the architect of technical accounting policies, lead on complex consolidations, and engine behind financial reporting. They will leverage a modern tech stack to automate mundane tasks and bridge the gap between complex GAAP standards and strategic business decision-making.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Big 4 Public Accounting (Audit)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required
- Deep understanding of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 805 (Business Combinations)
- Expert-level Google Sheets skills
- AI Mindset: ability to use LLMs and automation tools
- Systems Thinker: ability to identify bottlenecks in financial workflows and implement solutions
- Systems Mastery: experience with NetSuite, Abacum, Ramp, Carta, and BambooHR
