The EHS Coordinator supports and coordinates the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs across all facilities, promoting and strengthening a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Coordinate and maintain the company’s Safety Management System (SMS)
- Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and facility walkthroughs to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries; document findings and track corrective actions
- Maintain OSHA logs (300, 300A, 301) and other required safety and environmental records
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
- Assist with hazardous materials management including labeling, storage, and disposal
- Coordinate safety training programs
- Support emergency preparedness programs
- Maintain safety equipment
- Assist with internal and external EHS audits and regulatory inspections
- Track safety metrics and help prepare reports for management review
- Coordinate with Facilities and Operations to address safety concerns related to equipment, building infrastructure, and processes
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and the chemical inventory system
- Assist in maintaining environmental permits and reporting requirements
- Promote employee engagement in safety initiatives and continuous improvement
