Job Description
The Medical Assistant in Women's Health provides clinical support to patients as a member of a care team. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting patient interactions, and other duties related to patient care.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduate from a Medical Assisting program
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Tongan proficiency
- Basic Life Support certification
- Minimum one year of experience working in primary care or community clinic
- Experience in Women's Health or Pediatrics preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with electronic charting and scheduling systems
- Computer literate in a Windows-based environment
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Current California drivers' license and ability to travel between clinics
- Up to date with COVID-19 vaccines per current CDC guidelines
