Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for processing high volumes of accounts receivable transactions, ensuring outstanding receivables remain within company targets, and adhering to appropriate accounts receivable process and systems. The primary mandate for the Specialist will be to ensure that all accounts receivable transactions are accurately and efficiently processed, and that company policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Confirming bid deposits and payments
• Processing refunds for overpayments
• Ensuring appropriate authorizations and policies are adhered to
• Generating invoices to bill customers
• Assisting in collections and reconciling customer accounts
• Reconciling AR sub-ledger to general ledger
• Researching and responding to customer inquiries
• Maintaining customer account information
