Laundry Aide

The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering laundry for residents and facility staff.

Requirements

• Sort and wash laundry according to fabric type, soil level, and infection control standards
• Dry, fold, and distribute clothing and linens throughout the facility
• Label resident clothing to prevent loss or mix-ups
• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
• Follow safety and infection prevention guidelines at all times
• Keep laundry rooms and carts clean and organized
• Notify supervisor of any malfunctioning equipment or supply needs
