Job Description
RDR Utility Services Group is seeking an Accountant and Benefits Specialist to prepare financial reports, coordinate with upper management, and perform various accounting duties. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of general financial accounting and cost accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Requirements
- Benefit reconciliation and administrative processing
- Processing payroll and associated taxes
- Performs general cost accounting and other related duties
- Maintains general ledger
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes monthly books
- Reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks
- Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable
- Provides outside auditors with assistance
