Project Engineer

Project Engineer will lead the end-to-end technical design, engineering, procurement, and construction of commercial and utility-scale solar projects.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of commercial solar energy system design experience
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Knowledgeable of the NEC code
• NABCEP, PV Installation Professional Certification a plus
• Expertise in solar plant equipment
• Proficiency with PVSyst, System Advisory Model (SAM) programs, AutoCAD, PVcase, ArcGIS, Helioscope, and Aurora Solar
• Experience reviewing civil, structural, or electrical engineering design packages
• Experience managing third-party due diligence studies and energy production estimates
• Ability to multi-task and manage deliverables for multiple projects at a time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to work in a dynamic environment alongside people with varied interests and backgrounds
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Proven and influential verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with the Microsoft Windows Office suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
