Job Description
The Senior Manager of Accounts Payable is responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. This role involves ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, developing and overseeing AP functions, and optimizing processes. The position requires leadership, risk management, and collaboration with various departments.
Requirements
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
- Reviews workload of AP team members.
- Optimizes processes and develops Standard Operating Procedures.
- Oversees vendor reconciliation settlements.
- Hires, trains, develops and appraises staff.
