Job Description
The Right of Way Specialist II will work to ensure legal compliance of all proposed ReadiTech Engineering Outside Plant Construction projects by securing land rights, permits, and licenses in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner.
Requirements
- Identify property owners
- Use mapping software to understand what property will be affected
- Negotiate acquisition of property rights
- Establish a positive relationship with property owners
- Explain project details to property owners
- Research property value before making an offer
- Create, acquire, and file easements
- Secure permits and licenses
- Ensure project compliance with local and state laws
- Mitigate damages to affected properties
- Draw upon knowledge of property to assess damage claims
- Offer settlements
- Manage multiple priorities and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Lead, mentor, and direct others
- Communicate effectively through written and oral communication
- Utilize Microsoft Office software and other software to prepare technical drawings
- Read and interpret construction plans
