Mechanical Project Engineer

Role Overview

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will plan and implement key capital projects, drive technology improvements, and provide engineering solutions to deliver productivity and improve operations within the business unit. This role is 60% Project Engineering/Project Management with 20% being plant support and 20% mechanical systems design.

What You Will Do

You will effectively communicate project expectations to team members, contractors, and stakeholders, and build effective partnerships with plant personnel through the implementation of capital projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related engineering field
• 2+ years of related industrial experience
• Strong technical and process management skills
• Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Six Sigma/PMP certification (plus)
