Job Description
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming CNC mills for creating fiberglass patterns and tools. The position involves reading blueprints and CAD files, creating tool features, and setting up and running the mill. The CNC Programmer will work in a design and development environment and will be responsible for the design and layout of the pattern structure to be machined.
Requirements
- Technical trade education or associates degree
- 3+ years experience or a combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed part prints
- Ability to interpret and modify detailed 3D CAD models using SolidWorks software
- Knowledge of programming CNC mills
- Working knowledge of MasterCAM machine programming software
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
