Electrical Service Technician

We are seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join our team in the utility industry. The role involves conducting testing and inspection of electrical structures, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and traveling locally. The starting pay is $20.00/hr.

Requirements

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs
• Ability to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities
• Computer proficiency
• Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, as well as maps and prints; possess basic math skill to calculate distances
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners
