Job Description

As a Gas Service Technician, you will be responsible for checking gas meters for leaks and corrosion, identifying abnormal operating conditions, and accurately filling out forms associated with the inspection visit.
Requirements
- Proficient at using current technology; smartphone, tablet
- Ability to communicate in an effective manner in a one-on-one setting and while addressing a group
- Ability to work long hours and weekends
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions; outdoor experience preferred
- Must be available to work overtime and weekends (as needed)
- Must pass a drug screen
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record required
- Work well within a group, as well as individually
- Ability to use simple hand tools
- Ability to read utility maps
