Job Description
The APRN/PA at the Center for Human Services (CHS) delivers high-quality, evidence-based medical care to individuals with substance use disorders, focusing on Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) services and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
Requirements
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Connecticut
- Current DEA registration with Schedule II–V authority
- Experience or training in addiction medicine and/or MOUD
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria, Medication-assisted treatment (MAT/MOUD), Harm reduction principles
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed care
- Cultural humility and respect for diverse populations
