Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Overview

Embed directly with enterprise customers to understand technical requirements and business objectives, architect and build custom integrations, APIs, and workflows, and deploy scalable, production-grade solutions in customer environments.

What You Will Do

Build internal tools and reusable components to accelerate future deployments, translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical plans and shipped systems, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to influence roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals in a modern backend language (Python, Go, Rust, etc.)
• Experience building and deploying production systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience designing APIs, integrations, and data workflows
• Comfortable working directly with customers and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong systems thinking across infrastructure, data flows, and reliability
• High ownership mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments
• Track record of shipping end-to-end solutions with measurable impact
