Job Description
Software Engineer 3 role for a 2-month contract in Austin, TX, responsible for developing software solutions, investigating problem areas, and preparing solutions. The position will work on the SCOR BAU EI parallel initiative, making updates to the SCOR Java, and supporting application enhancements and defect corrections.
Requirements
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigates problem areas.
- Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Supports application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode.
- Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required.
- Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required.
- Available for on-call support as needed.
