Job Description
We are seeking a Sales, Meetings & Event Manager to lead our Meetings & Events department, overseeing a team of approximately 9 FTEs, and ensuring optimal occupation of rooms and rooms while focusing on revenue and guest experience. The successful candidate will have demonstrable leadership experience and commercial strength, with a focus on banquet sales and management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in commercial meetings & events (banquet sales)
- Good leadership qualities, including the ability to implement suitable approaches and direct team members
- Commercial strength, including experience with setting up contracts with clients for price agreements
- Ability to plan and prioritize well, managing a department for optimal results
- Experience with PMS system VIPS (a plus)
