Job Description
A Software Engineer role at a geospatial analysis team involves developing cutting-edge microservices to enhance geospatial data processing and visualization. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design, implement, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices, and integrate geospatial functionality with external APIs. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing of solutions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Experience working with Java
- Understanding of microservices architecture and design principles
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases and their interactions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
