Red Bull Powertrains supplies power units to both Oracle Red Bull Racing and Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, whilst its fully-operational Design Team continue work on developing a power unit for the 2026 technical regulations.
Job Description
We're seeking a PU Engineer to play a crucial role in the development of our Power Units by being a part of our team responsible for proving the durability of the Power Units fitted to our F1 cars at race and test events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (minimum 2:1) in motorsports, engineering or related discipline or equivalent qualification or experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Power Unit systems used in Formula One racing.
- Strong and collaborative team player, with a proven track-record of working within cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a PU Dyno and/or trackside support role for a Formula One team or PU Manufacturer, or in a similar motorsport environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and telemetry systems used in motorsports, such as Atlas (9, 10), System Monitor, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, or similar tools.
