Job Description
We are seeking a Founding CTO to build Savoy Life's technology platform from the ground up, partner directly with the CEO and COO, and design, architect, and build the technical foundation that powers Savoy Life's caregiving-first model. You will own the creation of our data infrastructure, intelligence layer, and early products that unify caregiving and clinical data, enabling risk stratification, clinical decision support, and scalable continuous care.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- Experience designing and scaling backend systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data platforms
- Expertise in database design, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures
- Experience with clinical data structures, healthcare integration standards, or related domains
- Understanding of HIPAA, PHI handling, and clinical workflows
- Experience using LLMs to build production features, comfortable with prompt engineering, model selection, and grounding strategies
- Deep understanding of secure system design, encryption standards, access control models, auditability, and threat modeling
