Job Description
Reddit is a large and growing community with a high volume of active users. They are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to leverage data to improve advertising platform performance and identify new opportunities for growth. The role involves working closely with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to build data-driven solutions and deliver significant impact for Reddit.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, causal inference and experimental design
- Experience with large-scale data processing and analysis using tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Hive; knowledge of BigQuery a plus
- Proficiency in Python or R and experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passion for Reddit and the online advertising industry
