Peer Support Specialist - Part Time - Co-Occurring Disorder Team

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Will have to be willing to work 20 hours per week sometime in the hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
• A valid automobile driver’s license, appropriate automobile insurance and a safe, reliable, registered automobile available for use during work
• Must have life experiences with a substance use disorder and/or mental illness and have received appropriate services
• Must have successfully completed the Peer Specialist training through the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB) and successfully passed the certification exam
• Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus
• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite
