Mechanical Engineer / Designer

As a Mechanical Engineer / Designer, you will work on designing, prototyping, and refining precise mechanical components and assemblies, collaborating with electrical, physics, and assembly teams. The role involves strong mechanical design skills, thermal management design experience, and the ability to identify and resolve mechanical–electrical interface issues.

Requirements

• Produce and maintain accurate 3D CAD, mechanical drawings, GD&T, and documentation.
• Generate redlines, implement design updates, and manage Engineering Change activities.
• Prepare mechanical analyses (tolerance stack-ups, thermal calculations) using practical intuition and experience.
• Design, prototype and refine precise mechanical components and assemblies.
• Work closely with electrical, physics, and assembly teams on electromechanical interfaces and constraints.
• Support quality assurance, quality control, procurement, and configuration management functions as needed.
• Support bench‐level activities including test setups, fit checks, and prototype iterations.
• Participate in root‐cause investigations using first‐principles reasoning.
• Support fabrication decisions, component selection, and vendor interactions.
