Job Description
REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks a dedicated and skilled teacher to provide academic English language development to long-term English Learner students in a Middle School setting. The teacher will provide direct instruction, assess student progress, and collaborate with other teachers to make instruction effective for English Learners.
Requirements
- California Teaching Credential
- Excellent written communication skills
- Familiarity with second language acquisition process and current research-based methods for teaching English learners
- Ability to communicate effectively with students of linguistically and culturally diverse learners
- Minimum of three years classroom teaching experience
- Bilingual Spanish
