Assistant Manager, Consumer Lending

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Consumer Lending Assistant Manager to supervise team members, direct sales and service activities, and make lending decisions. The ideal candidate has a combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree, plus a minimum of six years of experience in the consumer lending industry.

Requirements

• Analyzing loan requests and applications to make decisions for loan approval, denial, or counteroffers
• Performing immediate loan review and rendering loan decisions while members are present
• Ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive member financial information
• Counseling members on loan requirements and matters affecting the granting of loans
• Managing performance, training, motivating, coaching, and assigning duties for team members under direct supervision
