Job Description
Direct Support Professional II assists adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, providing care and support with dietary, hygiene, and grooming needs. Assists with behaviors and participates in activities to promote independence and life-enrichment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid
- CPI
- DSP 1 & 2 certification
- RBT certification (completed within 6-12 months of hire)
- 1 year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Current registration and insurance
- Driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
