Global Supply Chain Manager, Energy Storage

Redwood Materials is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager, Energy Storage to drive suppliers election, manage supplier agreements, and optimize procurement strategies for energy storage components. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or economics and 5-7 years of supply chain experience.

Requirements

• Develop a sourcing strategy for a given set of components
• Lead supplier selection activities
• Collaborate with engineering in order to understand key requirement that must be conveyed to potential suppliers
• Drive cost reduction and inventory management strategies that ensure availability of component while minimizing inventory carrying costs
• Manage supplier performance, including quality, on time delivery, sustainability, etc
• Become the subject matter expert for the assigned list of components and technologies
• Mitigate supply chain risks by working with cross functional teams in engineering, logistics, finance, quality etc.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to support day to day operations
